Lead and Seed involves training for leadership in drug prevention, collaboration, advocacy, environmental Best Practices, policy change, strategic planning, advocacy, capacity building, evaluation and media strategies for youth or adult leaders in a school, civic organization, coalition, neighborhood or community.
Project Lead and Seed: the Torch of Leadership is a two-“phased” program that focuses on both leadership skills and the coalition competencies recommended by CADCA’s (Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America) National Coalition Academy.
Project: Lead and Seed is a “process model,” so it can be applied to the prevention and reduction of tobacco use, underage drinking, illicit drug use, (or all ATOD), depending on the needs and resources of a local community.
